CARACAS, Monday, November 30, 2020 (WAFA) – Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro yesterday marked the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and called for lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip.

Maduro tweeted in support of lifting the crippling siege Israel has been imposing on Gaza since 2006 as well as for the Palestinian people’s struggle in the face of occupation.

“On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, we send our greetings and appreciation to those who continue to resist with courage and dignity. Venezuela raises its voice as a sign of rebellion for the noble cause of the State of Palestine. Enough with the siege!” he tweeted.
