Dozens suffocate during clashes south of Hebron

HEBRON, Saturday, September 26, 2020 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians suffocated today evening from tear gas inhalation during clashes that broke out following an Israeli army raid into al-Thahr area to the south of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, according to a local source.

Mohammad Awad, a local activist, told WAFA clashes broke out between Israeli forces and residents following a military raid into al-Thahr area, during which the former used tear gas canisters against the residents.

Dozens were treated at the scene from tear gas suffocation.
