TEL AVIV, March 6, 2011 (WAFA) –Israeli High Court Sunday postponed looking into an appeal submitted through Hamoked (Center for the Defence of the Individuals) by Abd al hakim Salah from the West Bank to reunify him with his wife.
Salah's wife, who holds a residency card in Gaza, is banned to enter the West Bank.
The court will hold a session in March 14, 2011 to take a general decision concerning the case.
Agreements between the Palestinian authority and its Israeli counterpart guarantee freedom of movement and change of residency address for Palestinians living in West Bank and Gaza.
However, Israeli authorities violated these rights within a mass punishment policy practiced against Palestinians.
