Settlers destroy stone walls in Palestinian-owned land near Hebron

HEBRON, Sunday, June 7, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers destroyed today defensive stone walls in a Palestinian-owned land in Beit Anoun area to the northeast of Hebron, the occupied West Bank, said a local official.

An official at the Directorate of Agriculture in Hebron, Hisham al-Badarin, said Israeli settlers destroyed defensive stone walls built in an agricultural land belonging to a local resident in the area of Beit Anoun.

He said that last week, settlers uprooted trees from the same plot of land which was planted as part of the projects funded by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Meanwhile, settlers also reportedly destroyed Palestinian harvesting crops in Masafer Yatta, a collection of 19 Palestinian hamlets in the Hebron governorate of the southern West Bank.
