NABLUS, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers today attacked Palestinian herders in Khirbet Yanoun pastures in the north of the West Bank, according to a local official.
Ghassan Daghlas, an official in charge of monitoring Israeli settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that settlers chased herders out the pastures and land that belong to the village of Aqraba, south of Nablus, and attacked them.
He said Israeli soldiers in the area did not intervene to stop the settlers, rather they provided them with cover and protection.
Shepherd live off raising livestock and they often take their sheep to the open pastures for their food.
