BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers last night threw rocks at Palestinian vehicles and caused damage to some of them near the village of Za‘atara, west of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told WAFA that settlers threw rocks at vehicles that were passing near the Za’atara, causing damages to some of them but no injuries.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
It includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
