GAZA, April 20, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and others injured on Friday when Israeli forces opened gunfire at non-violent protesters participating in the ongoing protests of the Great March of Return at the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health.
Ahmad Nabil Aqel, 25, was shot by Israeli soldiers with live ammunition in his head while partaking in the non-violent protests east of Jabalia town, in northern Gaza Strip. He was killed instantly. Three other protesters were also injured in the same gunfire attack.
More than 34 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces at Gaza’s border since the beginning of the Great March of Return protests on March 30. Thousands others have also been injured.
