RAMALLAH, Thursday, September 19, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided the center of Ramallah early today and broke into several buildings, according to local sources.
They told WAFA that soldiers occupied rooftops in the heart of the city and broke into several buildings and coffee shops, but without any reports of arrests.
The soldiers also broke into a headquarters of the General Union of Workers in the Services Sector, located near the Palestinian Legislative Council, and ransacked the offices before seizing computer hard discs and documents.
Palestinian youths clashed with the soldiers during the raid. The soldiers fired back stun grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets at the youths causing five injuries from the rubber bullets. They were taken to hospital for treatment.
