NABLUS, Sunday, August 25, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers last night threw rocks at Palestinian citizens’ vehicles and caused damage to some of them near the village of Huwara, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, local sources said.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, told WAFA that settlers pelted rocks at vehicles, causing damages to some of them but no injuries.

Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

It includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
