Israeli forces close Beit El checkpoint to Palestinian traffic leaving Ramallah

 

RAMALLAH, Monday, March 04, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces closed Beit El (DCO) Israeli military checkpoint, near the northern entrance of al-Bireh city, to Palestinian traffic leaving the city of Ramallah, following clashes that broke out to condemn the Israeli killing of two Palestinians predawn Monday near Ramallah.

Israeli soldiers predawn Monday opened fire at a Palestinian car outside the village of Kufr Nimeh, west of Ramallah, killing two 20-year-old area residents alleging they rammed their car into soldiers.

The killing of the two Palestinians was slammed as “a heinous crime committed in cold blood,” and as an “extrajudicial execution.,” by the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry condemned the Israeli killing of the two Palestinians and called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to speed up its investigation of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, the latest was the killing of two young Palestinians.
