GAZA, August 23, 2014 – (WAFA) –
Eight Palestinians were killed early Saturday as the Israeli military
aggression on the Gaza Strip entered its 47th day, bringing the total death
toll to 2,100 and 10,554 injuries since the beginning of the Israeli aggression
on Gaza..
Health Ministry sources announced that since
the beginning of the aggression at least 563 children were killed and 3192
others were injured, sustaining various wounds that caused permanent physical
disabilities for many of them.
Palestinian medical sources at Naser Medical
Complex announced early Saturday the death of a Palestinian who
succumbed to his injuries he sustained when an Israeli F-16 fighter jet
targeted Thursday a motorbike in Khan Younes in southern Gaza Strip.
The fatality was identified as ‘Abdul-Rahman Salem Hadayed, 25.
This came hours after an Israeli F-16 fighter
jet targeted the home of Dahrouj family in al-Zawayda in central Gaza Strip,
leveling it and claiming the lives of a family of five. The fatalities were
identified as Khalil Shahda Abu Dahrouj, 28, his wife, Huda Abu Dahrouj, 26,
and their two children, Abdullah and Hadi, and Khalil'a aunt Hayat Abu Dahrouj,
47.
This came hours before Palestinian medical
sources announced that a Palestinian was killed and seven others were injured
in Israeli bombardment on Johr al-Deek in central Gaza Strip. The fatality was
identified as Muhammad Saber al-‘Ajla, 64.
Meanwhile, an Israeli warplanes carried out Saturday afternoon
a raid on a gathering of Palestinians in al-Jneineh neighborhood in Rafah,
claiming the life of a Palestinian and injuring three others. The identity of
the fatality is yet to be identified.
