Settler Pursues Farmers East of Marda, North of Salfit
SALFIT, October 19, 2026 (WAFA) — A colonist pursued farmers today, Monday, on lands in the Wadi Yasuf—Wadi al-Ahmar area, east of the village of Marda, north of Salfit. The incident occurred as a drone was seen flying over the area.
Local sources told WAFA that the colonist, who was armed, roamed through the agricultural lands and chased the farmers present there, forcing several of them to leave their property.
The area frequently witnesses attacks by colonists against farmers—including pursuits, physical assaults, and the theft of property—as part of efforts to restrict the farmers and prevent them from accessing their agricultural lands, particularly during the olive harvest season.
