GAZA, October 18, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian child was killed on Sunday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources identified the child as Misk Hazem al-Dalu, who succumbed to wounds sustained by Israeli live fire.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles fired heavily toward tents housing displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, west of Rafah, while Israeli artillery shelled areas northeast of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
At least 74,469 Palestinians have been killed and 175,492 injured since the start of Israel's genocidal war on October 7, 2023, according to health authorities. The figures may rise, as many victims remain under rubble and on roads inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
