SALFIT, October 9, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli soldiers and colonists on Friday fired live ammunition to prevent Palestinian farmers from reaching their lands and force them to leave in the northern area of Deir Ballut town, in the central West Bank province of Salfit.

Colonists also attacked a vehicle belonging to a Palestinian farmer while he was on his land in the same area.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian young man from the town of Kafr al-Dik, nearby, was injured in an attack by colonists while harvesting olives on his land west of the town.

In the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit, an Israeli army unit raided several neighborhoods and searched homes, ransacking their contents.

Several other attacks were also reported on agricultural lands belonging to the towns of Jamma'in, Yasuf, Iskaka and Marda in the province.
