HEBRON, October 9, 2026 (WAFA) — A 79-year-old Palestinian woman was injured on Friday after being attacked by a dog released by Israeli colonists against olive harvesters in the village of Birin, east of Hebron.
Birin Village Council head Farid Barqan told WAFA that a group of colonists from the newly established Adorim outpost, built on Palestinian-owned land near Birin, released their dogs toward farmers while they were harvesting olives.
One of the dogs bit the elderly woman on the upper thigh, causing moderate injuries. She was transported by ambulance crews to hospital for treatment, Barqan said.
