GAZA, October 9, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was killed and others injured by Israeli gunfire this morning east of al-Maghazi and al-Bureij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces stationed east of the area opened live fire at a group of Palestinians east of the refugee camps, killing one Palestinian with a shot in the neck and injuring others.

According to health authorities, at least 74,250 Palestinians have been killed and 175,278 injured in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. The figures include 1,467 fatalities recorded since the October 2025 ceasefire, in addition to 836 bodies recovered since then.
