HEBRON, October 8, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian woman was injured on Thursday after being assaulted by Israeli forces during a raid on her son's home in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Activist Mohammad Awad told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the Asida area of Beit Ummar and searched the home of Walid Sabarna. The soldiers deliberately damaged the contents of the house before assaulting his 65-year-old mother, Bahiya Ekhlail, causing bruises and contusions.

The woman was transported by ambulance crews to a hospital for treatment.

The soldiers also fired tear gas toward citizens' homes, causing several people to suffer from suffocation. They were treated at the scene.
