GAZA, October 6, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and others were injured today, Tuesday, due to occupation shelling targeting various areas in Gaza City and Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local and medical sources reported that one citizen was killed and another injured in a strike carried out by an occupation drone near the Municipality Park in central Gaza City.
The same sources added that a group of citizens sustained injuries after a bicycle was targeted on Al-Wahda Street, west of the city.
Additionally, two citizens were wounded by occupation army gunfire: one in the Al-Karama neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, and the other by fire from military vehicles in the "Well 19" area, south of Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, in the southern Strip.
Meanwhile, occupation artillery renewed its shelling of areas east of Gaza City, coinciding with the continued demolition of remaining homes in the vicinity of the Al-Shuja'iya junction and the eastern parts of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.
