WEST BANK, October 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tonight raided the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit, and the center of Tulkarm city, deploying military vehicles and infantry forces at major intersections, while briefly detaining several Palestinians and seizing surveillance camera footage.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces raided Kafr ad-Dik and deployed in several neighborhoods, where they raided and searched several homes and seized surveillance camera footage.
Meanwhile, WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces deployed around the Martyr Thabet Thabet Roundabout in central Tulkarm, preventing the movement of vehicles and Palestinians and briefly detaining several of them.
Israeli occupation military vehicles were also deployed around Jamal Abdel Nasser Square and the Gold Market, amid the firing of live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas, with no injuries or detentions reported.
The raid on central Tulkarm comes amid ongoing Israeli military operations against the city and its two refugee camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, marking the 617th consecutive day of aggression. A tightened siege and heavy military deployment continue to restrict Palestinian movement and disrupt daily life.
