CAIRO, October 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi today reiterated Egypt’s firm position rejecting any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land.

In his speech marking the 53rd anniversary of the glorious October War victories, Al-Sisi stressed that establishing an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions is the only guarantee for achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.

He said that challenges and schemes aimed at undermining Egypt’s stability have not stopped, stressing that the Egyptian state, strong through its institutions and united by the will of its people, is capable of protecting its national security and safeguarding its resources.

He paid tribute to the Egyptian armed forces and the souls of the ‘martyrs’ and those injured, affirming that the spirit of October remains the source and foundation from which the state draws its determination to continue building the New Republic and address economic challenges through radical solutions.
