CAIRO, September 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The Council of the League of Arab States called on Monday for immediate international intervention to protect the Palestinian people against Israeli crimes, and terrorism committed by Israeli colonist militias, according to a statement.
The Council called on the international community, including the United Nations and the UN Security Council, as well as the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention, to intervene in accordance with international law, UN resolutions, and relevant international and regional agreements and treaties.
The Council made this call at the conclusion of the 166th regular session of the Arab foreign ministers, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, under the chairmanship of Tunisia, with the participation of Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy and Palestine.
