NAZARETH, August 19, 2026 (WAFA) — A 34-year-old man was killed and another, aged 37, was moderately injured in a shooting in the town of Kafr Manda in Israel last night.

The latest incident brings the death toll from crime in the Arab community since the beginning of the year to 151, according to available data.

The data indicates that most of the victims were killed in shooting incidents, amid continued criticism of the Israeli police and government over what has been described as their failure to curb the activities of criminal organizations, investigate numerous murder cases, and bring those responsible to justice.

The continued rise in killings has deepened concerns and a sense of insecurity within the Arab community, as the annual death toll continues to climb.
