Israeli colonists set fire to agricultural lands in Turmus Ayya northeast of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, August 17, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists set fire on Monday night to Palestinian-owned agricultural lands in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Sources said that colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, set fire to privately owned Palestinian agricultural lands on the outskirts of the town.

Colonist violence targeting Palestinians and their properties has increased dramatically since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023.

This indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their property has drawn widespread international condemnation.

In response, several countries have imposed targeted sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of perpetrating acts of violence against the Palestinian population across the West Bank.
