NABLUS, August 16, 2026 (WAFA) – A group of colonists on Sunday night attacked and besieged a Palestinian home on the outskirts of Beit Imrin village, northwest of Nablus, trapping the occupants inside, said local sources.
Sources reported that the colonists surrounded the home of Mohammad Thabet Majed Hassoun along the Jaba-Beit Imrin road, trapping the occupants inside for more than three hours.
Following the prolonged siege, Israeli occupation forces raided the area and proceeded to detain all nine Palestinians who were trapped inside the house.
The occupation forces damaged the contents of the house before withdrawing from the area.
