KHAN YOUNIS, August 13, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was killed on Thursday in an Israeli strike targeting the al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis received one Palestinian killed and several others injured following an Israeli drone strike that targeted a motorcycle carrying two people near the Palestinian Red Crescent Society building in al-Amal neighborhood.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks has reached 1,260, while 4,154 have been injured. The number of bodies recovered has reached 808.
