NABLUS, August 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces forced residents to evacuate two homes and turned 16 others into military barracks in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, early Thursday.
Abdul Azim al-Wadi, head of the Qusra village council, told WAFA that several Israeli military vehicles and a military bulldozer entered the town in the early morning hours.
He said Israeli soldiers forced the residents of two homes in the Ras al-Ain area to evacuate. The homes belong to residents Yousef Hassan and Qusay Abu Rida.
Al-Wadi added that Israeli forces turned 16 homes in the town into military barracks.
According to local sources, Israeli forces entered the town in large numbers and deployed throughout its western and southern areas. The sources said that more than 1,000 Israeli soldiers had entered the town.
