HAIFA, August 12, 2026 (WAFA) — A man in his 60s was killed this morning after being shot in the city of Shafa Amr, inside Israel.

With the latest killing, the death toll from violent crimes in the Palestinian Arab community in Israel has reached 150 since the beginning of this year, amid a continuing wave of organized crime and ongoing loss of life with no signs of a decline in the phenomenon.

Available data indicate that most of the victims were killed in shootings. Criticism continues to mount against the Israeli police and government over what has been described as a failure to curb the activities of criminal organizations and to solve numerous murder cases and bring those responsible to justice.
