Six Palestinians injured in Israeli colonist attack near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, August 11, 2026 (WAFA) — Six Palestinians, including children and women, were injured on Tuesday in an attack carried out  by Israeli colonists on the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Marzouq Abu Naim, deputy head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, told WAFA that dozens of colonists, protected by Israeli forces, attacked Palestinians in the Al-Mughayyir plain, firing tear gas at them while they were plowing their land.

The arrack left six people suffering from tear-gas inhalation, including three children, two women, and another man.

The village of Al-Mughayyir and the surrounding villages and towns northeast of Ramallah have been subjected to continuous attacks by colonists, in addition to ongoing Israeli incursions.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli soldiers and colonists carried out 2,256 attacks against Palestinian citizens, their lands, and properties during the month of July. Israeli forces carried out 1,458 of these attacks, while settlers carried out 798.
