JENIN, August 11, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces began demolishing 12 commercial warehouses at the entrance to the village of Anza, south of Jenin, on Tuesday morning, despite the case still being under consideration by Israeli courts and no final ruling having been issued.

Hisham Sadaqa, head of the Anza village council, told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the area accompanied by two military bulldozers and began demolishing the warehouses belonging to Ayser Amour, located at the village entrance.

He added that the warehouses contained equipment and cardboard boxes belonging to a cardboard factory in the village. Troops further prevented the owners from removing their contents before the demolition and closed the main Nablus-Jenin road to vehicles.

Ayman Amour, who manages the warehouses, said that the targeted structures comprised 12 commercial warehouses, each covering approximately 40 square meters, with an estimated total cost of around 1.5 million shekels.

He noted that the warehouses had previously received demolition notices, and an objection had been filed with the Israeli courts. The case was still pending, but Israeli forces proceeded with the demolition before a final ruling was issued.

Amour also affirmed that the warehouses were an investment project for his cousin, Ayser, who works in Saudi Arabia, and all were rented as commercial shops. However, the tenants were forced to vacate after receiving the demolition notices.
