RAMALLAH, August 10, 2026 (WAFA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed on Monday Palestine’s solidarity with the friendly Republic of Colombia, its leadership, government and people, following the devastating earthquake that struck the western part of the country, leaving several people dead and injured and causing damage to numerous buildings and facilities.

In a statement, the Ministry said that the State of Palestine shares Colombia’s grief over this painful tragedy and extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims. It also expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured and for Colombia to overcome the aftermath of this natural disaster.
