RAMALLAH, August 10, 2026 (WAFA) — The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast that the impact of the severe heatwave over Palestine will intensify today, Monday, with extremely hot and dry conditions prevailing across most areas.
Temperatures are expected to rise, becoming around 5°C above their annual average. Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally picking up, while sea conditions will be slight to moderate.
In the evening and overnight hours, the weather will be warm across most areas. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally picking up, while sea conditions will be moderate.
On Tuesday, the weather will be hot and dry in mountainous areas and extremely hot elsewhere. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly but will remain around 4°C above their annual average. Northwesterly winds will be moderate to fresh and dust-raising, while sea conditions will be moderate.
