RAMALLAH, August 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffered suffocation after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli forces on Saturday evening during a military raid on the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, said local sources.
Sources reported that Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters inside a house, causing members of a family, including children, to suffer suffocation.
The same sources added that the occupation forces also raided the nearby town of Turmus 'Ayya and the village of Abu Falah, both adjacent to Al-Mughayyir, with no reports of detentions or house raids.
The villages and towns northeast of Ramallah have been subjected to repeated raids by Israeli occupation forces, alongside ongoing attacks by colonists targeting Palestinians and their property.
