BETHLEHEM, August 7, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian resident was injured by live ammunition on Friday evening in an Israeli colonists’ attack on the village of Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem, according to a security source.
A security source told WAFA that colonists attacked the village and opened live fire at Palestinian residents, injuring one Palestinian with live ammunition.
The source added that the colonists then attacked an ambulance that arrived to provide medical assistance to the injured man, smashing its windows and spraying its crew with pepper spray, causing the ambulance crew to suffer from suffocation.
Following the attack, the colonists closed the village’s main road.
