RAMALLAH, August 5, 2026 (WAFA) — According to a report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the overall IPI in Palestine reached 82.89 during June 2026 with an increase of 9.37% compared to May 2026 (Base Year 2019 = 100).
IPI for June 2026 increased due to the increase in the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 13.31%, which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry, the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 9.58%, which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry, the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 7.57%, which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry, and the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 6.21%, which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry.
11% of industrial establishments in Gaza Strip returned to work during June 2026, out of 114 establishments that are representative of the industrial index sample in Gaza Strip.
