GALILEE, August 5, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli bulldozers early Wednesday demolished a Palestinian home in the town of al-Ba’na, in the Galilee region within the 1948 territories, under the pretext that it was built without a permit.
A large Israeli police force stormed the town at dawn, surrounded the home of Munir al-Bakri, and prevented residents from reaching the area. The family was forced to evacuate the house before it was demolished.
Israeli police detained Adnan Bakri, the homeowner’s brother, along with his relative Khaled Amer Bakri, during attempts to resist the demolition operation.
