JORDAN VALLEY, August 5, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli settlers today fenced off land in the northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources.
Mahlah village council head Mahdi Daraghmeh said that settlers brought fencing equipment and began fencing off hundreds of dunams of land in Hammamat al-Malih.
He said the land belongs to the Latin Patriarchate.
Over the past three years, settlers have seized tens of thousands of dunams of agricultural and grazing land in the northern Jordan Valley after fencing them off and preventing Palestinian citizens from accessing them.
