ILLINOIS, August 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Dozens of supporters of the Palestinian people, along with members of the Arab and Muslim communities, took part in a demonstration outside the Israeli Consulate in Chicago, Illinois, protesting the escalating attacks by terrorist Israeli colonists in the occupied West Bank.

Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and carried banners calling for an end to colonists' attacks against Palestinian civilians and for those responsible to be held accountable. Participants condemned the escalating violence and terrorism carried out by Israeli colonists against Palestinian towns and villages, noting that dozens of Palestinians have been killed by extremist colonists over the past two years.

Protesters also called on the US administration to adopt a firmer stance toward the ongoing attacks in the West Bank and to end what they described as support that contributes to the continuation of these violations. They further demanded protection for Palestinian civilians and an end to Israeli colonial expansion amid rising tensions across the occupied Palestinian territory.
