GAZA, August 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed and others injured on Monday night in an Israeli occupation forces’ strike southwest of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli drone fired a missile at a civilian vehicle on the coastal road near the Martyr Khalil al-Wazir Mosque in the Sheikh Ajleen neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, killing two Palestinians and injuring several others.
Earlier today, medical sources announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,375 killed Palestinians, while the number of injuries has reached 174,220, since October 7, 2023.
The same sources said that the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,250, with 4,110 injured, while the number of bodies retrieved stands at 804.
They noted that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews remain unable to reach them.
