Palestinian shot, others suffer tear gas inhalation during Israeli forces and colonists' raid west of Nablus

NABLUS, July 31, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian man was shot with live ammunition and several others, including children, suffered from tear gas inhalation during confrontations with Israeli forces and Israeli colonists in the town of Al-Juneid, west of Nablus, on Friday.

Medical sources at the Palestine Red Crescent Society said ambulance crews treated a young man who was shot in the abdomen with live ammunition, in addition to 10 people, including children, who suffered from tear gas inhalation during the attack by Israeli colonists and Israeli forces.

Local sources said a group of Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, stormed Al-Juneid, while Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades, tear gas canisters and live ammunition toward Palestinian homes and residents.

The sources added that the colonists also stormed the Ameriya area and its surroundings west of Nablus, as well as the nearby town of Tell, southwest of the city.
