NABLUS, July 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the work of medical teams by tightening restrictions at military checkpoints across the Nablus governorate in the occupied West Bank.
Nablus Emergency and Ambulance Center director Ameed Ahmad said Israeli forces have continued to impede ambulance crews by imposing stricter measures at military checkpoints, delaying the movement of ambulances and hindering their access to patients and injured people.
He added that Israeli forces have been documented preventing or delaying the transfer of medical cases from outside the governorate to hospitals inside Nablus, as well as preventing several kidney dialysis patients from entering the governorate to receive treatment.
Ahmad said coordination has been carried out with the International Committee of the Red Cross in an effort to facilitate patients’ access to hospitals.
