AMMAN, July 22, 2026 (WAFA) – A military source in the Jordanian army said that Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down four drones launched from Iran toward Jordanian territory on Wednesday morning.
According to the source, as cited by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the interception and downing of the drones resulted in no casualties or material damage.
The source added that Royal Engineering Corps teams were dispatched to the sites where the debris fell to secure the areas in accordance with the applicable technical and security procedures.
