GAZA, July 18, 2026 (WAFA) -- A Palestinian woman was killed and others were injured on Saturday evening in Israeli artillery shelling targeting the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli artillery fired several shells at a group of Palestinians in the neighborhood, killing one woman and injuring several others.

Earlier on Saturday, five Palestinians, including three children, were killed in an Israeli strike on the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City.

Since the start of the ceasefire agreement on October 11 last year, 1,144 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,700 injured by ongoing Israeli attacks, while the bodies of 802 victims have been recovered.
