RAMALLAH, July 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces sealed off the entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday, ahead of the funeral procession for the slain Palestinian Fadi Naasan, who succumbed to his wounds earlier that day after being shot by Israeli forces a week prior.

Local sources reported that Israeli troops closed the western entrance to the village in both directions, preventing residents from entering or leaving. The western road is currently the only entrance to the village, while the eastern entrance has remained closed for the past four years.

Israeli forces further fired a barrage of tear gas canisters toward the Al-Mughayyir Boys' School, causing a fire in the schoolyard.
