Israeli colonists attack village northeast of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, July 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, according to local sources.

Amin Abu Alia, head of the al-Mughayyir Village Council, told WAFA that Israeli colonists stormed the village from its eastern side and attempted to raid the home of Mohammad Hamed Abu Alia, a local Palestinian family.

He added that the colonists grazed their livestock on Palestinian agricultural land in the area, causing damage to trees and crops.

The attack came hours after Israeli occupation forces and colonists raided the same home earlier on Saturday, during which several Palestinians were injured by live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and stun grenades. Israeli forces also detained 23-year-old Moamen Abu Alia during the raid.

The village of al-Mughayyir and nearby Palestinian communities have been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli colonists targeting residents and their property, alongside frequent raids by Israeli occupation forces.
