NABLUS, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale detention campaign in the town of Madama, south of Nablus, at dawn on Tuesday, during which they also conducted field interrogations of a number of Palestinian residents.
Security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided dozens of homes in the town and, so far, have detained about 14 Palestinians, while deploying heavily throughout the town's neighborhoods and subjecting several residents to field interrogation.
The sources identified some of the detainees as Samed Qut, Mohammad Nasr Nassar, Mohammad Bashar Nassar, Mohammad Athib Qut, Shuaib Nassar, Omar Ziyada, Ahmad Nassar, Amjad Nassar and Mahmoud Qut.
Israeli forces remained in the town at the time of reporting.
