RAMALLAH, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the weather on Tuesday will be hot in the mountainous areas and very hot in the rest of the country, with a slight drop in temperatures.

Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, becoming active at times, while sea waves will be light to moderate.

During the evening and nighttime hours, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear, relatively pleasant in the mountainous areas and warm elsewhere. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate, becoming active at times, and sea waves will be moderate.

According to the PMD, the weather on Wednesday will remain hot in the mountainous areas and very hot in the rest of the country, with no significant change in temperatures. Temperatures are expected to rise on Thursday, followed by another increase on Friday, with hot conditions continuing in the mountainous areas and very hot conditions prevailing elsewhere.

The PMD warned the public against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. It also urged citizens to avoid lighting fires in areas with abundant dry vegetation to prevent wildfires.
