RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department said that extremely hot weather is expected to prevail across most areas today, Wednesday, with no significant change in temperatures.
Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly to westerly, becoming active at times, while the sea will have light to moderate waves.
During the evening and nighttime hours, the weather will be generally clear, with pleasant conditions in the mountainous areas and warm conditions elsewhere. Winds will remain light to moderate northwesterly, and the sea will be slight.
On Thursday, extremely hot conditions are expected to continue across most areas, with a slight drop in temperatures. Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly to westerly, becoming active at times, while the sea will have light to moderate waves.
On Friday, extremely hot weather will persist across most areas, with temperatures remaining unchanged. Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly to westerly, becoming active at times, and the sea will have light to moderate waves.
On Saturday, extremely hot conditions will continue across most areas, with no change in temperatures. Winds will be light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly, becoming active at times, while the sea will have light to moderate waves.
The Meteorological Department warned against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and cautioned against lighting fires in areas with abundant dry vegetation.
