GAZA, June 30, 2026 (WAFA) – The cities of Khan Younis, Rafah, and Gaza witnessed intense Israeli military operations on Tuesday, including artillery shelling, the demolition of homes and civilian infrastructure, and the targeting of residential neighborhoods, resulting in the displacement of dozens of families.

WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out four large-scale demolition operations at dawn on Tuesday, targeting homes and civilian infrastructure in the eastern and northeastern areas of Khan Younis.

Artillery shelling also struck the northwestern areas of Rafah, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward the eastern parts of Khan Younis.

In Gaza City, Israeli forces detonated a booby-trapped robot loaded with a large quantity of explosives, targeting homes in the Tuffah neighborhood in the northeast of the city. This coincided with heavy gunfire from military vehicles and sporadic explosions in the Shuja'iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods.

The shelling extended to the eastern areas of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, in addition to targeting the Atatra area northwest of Gaza City.

In a related context, medical sources reported that eight Palestinians, including two children, were killed and others wounded on Monday. According to health sources, the death toll since the ceasefire violations began in October 2025 has risen to 1,045, in addition to 3,380 injuries.

The sources added that the cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,058 dead and 173,488 wounded.
