UPDATE: Israeli forces raid Charity headquarters in Nablus, order one-year closure

NABLUS, June 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Nablus on Tuesday, stormed the headquarters of the Al-Tadamon Charitable Society on Al-Adl Street in the city center, and ordered its closure for one year.

Security and local sources told WAFA that several Israeli military vehicles entered the Sufian Street and Al-Adl Street areas before raiding the association's headquarters. Occupation soldiers have been vandalizing the building for over two hours.

The sources added that occupation soldiers were seen running cables from inside the building to the outside. While the purpose of the operation remains unclear, though it is suspected they intend to seal it off, although there has been no official confirmation of this so far.

Occupation forces are still imposing a military cordon around the association's headquarters in the Sufian Street and Al-Adl Street areas, as the raid remained ongoing.

This comes hours after occupation forces stormed the Balata and Askar refugee camps east of Nablus at dawn, carrying out raids and searches, though no arrests have been reported.

The occupation forces are escalating their incursions into Palestinian cities and towns in the West Bank, which include raids on homes and institutions, road closures, and arrests, as part of a policy of ongoing harassment and restrictions on citizens.
