AL-BIREH, June 29, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child succumbed to critical wounds sustained by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the Um Al-Sharayet neighborhood in the city of Al-Bireh on Monday evening.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement that the child, identified as 15-year-old Amir Ahmed Jawad Jaber, succumbed to critical wounds after being shot with two bullets to the head and chest by Israeli occupation soldiers during their incursion into the area.
It added that the child was directly shot during the raid, leaving him in very critical condition before he later succumbed to his wounds.
B'Tselem, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, released a new report today detailing the 54 cases in which Israeli forces killed Palestinian children and teenagers in the West Bank in 2025.
